Last weekend, Emily and her class went to the city museum. They took a bus there and arrived in the morning. The museum had many interesting exhibits, including ancient pottery, fossils, and paintings by famous artists. Emily was excited to see the dinosaur skeletons, which were displayed in a large room. She learned that these dinosaurs lived millions of years ago.

After touring the museum, Emily and her friends went to the gift shop. She bought a small model of a dinosaur as a souvenir. Then, they had lunch in the museum’s cafe. Emily tried a new sandwich with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.

It was a fun day, and Emily learned a lot about history and science. She couldn’t wait to tell her parents all about her adventure when she got home.
